Romalina’s Story!
“High up in mountains, way down in streams”
I grew up in Reno, NV, where I spent anytime outside of the industry camping, swimming in Lake Tahoe, or vintage shopping in downtown Reno. I started dancing at age 5 in a small studio known as “FairyTale Ballet” in downtown Reno. Through my dance teacher there I learned about other arts like ballet, musical theater, and film acting. When I was 8 I auditioned for the Nutcracker and this is where my longtime career and relationship with A.V.A Ballet started, where I was Corps De Ballet for 4 years (13-17). When I was 9 I stepped into the film acting scene by auditioning for a documentary about the Donner Party. This was my first audition and I got cast as a leading role, Patty Reed! This experience was absolutely amazing and really kickstarted my love and passion for acting. I then continued to do small commercials and short films around my hometown. I found Musical Theater at age 9 as well, which started a now lifelong passion for Musicals. My first audition was for Aladdin where I was dance troupe and then soon after Annie, where I was a lead orphan, Duffy! After many years of Ballet, Musical Theater, and some acting I knew after High school I needed to book it straight to NYC! Now I am here and am so excited to see where my passion for this industry takes me!
